The Horse’s Way offers a variety of services that include experiential equine assisted approaches in counseling, life coaching, and corporate training.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a solution-focused, experiential approach. Clients experience real-time growth and learning with the horses. Feelings, patterns, behaviors, and solutions are identified and addressed during the session with the horse, so clients can experience immediate insight and redirection. The experience may be less intimidating (and more enjoyable) than one-on-one talk therapy. Clients also interact with the clinician in ways they would not in a traditional in-office session. Traditional In-Office Therapy is a more private treatment option to delve into issues if so desired or recommended, using other specific evidence-based approaches. In-office sessions can be used in tandem with EAP sessions to clarify goals, discuss experiences, etc. To learn more about our Traditional In-Office Therapy, CLICK HERE!
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) in Life Coaching is designed for physically and emotionally healthy individuals who desire to improve personal goals, leadership, and improve the quality of personal relationships, among other life experiences. Equine Assisted Learning in Corporate Training provides business owners, managers, executives, and corporate teams opportunities to experience real-time learning, team building, leadership, and relationship development. While interacting with horses, corporate members (similar to family dynamics) are able to identify and redirect maladaptive behavior patterns that limit them from developing healthy relationships in business settings.
